Domain Group announces the acquisition of The Realbase Product Suite
A word from the CEO
Wow, what a journey.
If you told me 5 years ago when I was still folding A4 brochures late into a Thursday night print rush, that in just a few years - we would:
- Pivot our focus into software;
- Merge with our largest competitor;
- Launch a whole new version of our existing platform;
- Release a suite of amazing new products from proposals, signing, finance, and beyond to create the most powerful social/digital ordering platform in the country.
And then at the same time being acquired by a huge company with an amazing team of like-minded people, I’d probably have told you that you’re crazy and to stop distracting me, I’ve got brochures to fold!
Yet here I am, with the pleasure of announcing to our team and customers that the Domain Group and Realbase have joined forces to bring to the market a full product suite that provides end to end solutions for agencies. In addition to this, the combination of skills, expertise, knowledge and resources this brings together creates opportunity for innovation. This is a big leap forward for the industry
When conversations first started with Domain around strengthening our integrations and relationships it was immediately apparent just how similar the two companies' operational methods and aspirational goals aligned.
Like a first date where you both talk long into the night, forgetting all prior commitments and plans. We just clicked!
Over the course of the next few months, conversations became more serious, surrounding a potential marriage of sorts. The combination of the best tools across Domain’s product suite, with the missing links in the chain perfectly complemented by Realbase’s existing and planned future solutions.
Both companies found the missing puzzle pieces within each other to create the perfect backdrop for the real estate industry.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing this news with all our customers and friends and will begin down a path of stronger integrations, enhanced solutions for agents, driving incredible value in the market. At the same time, we will also work to integrate our teams, who, I’m happy to say, are all very excited to meet each other and start working together.
I cannot thank our team enough for their hard work and the honour it has been to work alongside you all in growing this business. I’m so excited for the future of this partnership with the Domain Group. We now have two amazing teams working with dedication, passion and focus to serve our clients!

Today, we get the pleasure of announcing Realbase’s acquisition by the Domain Group.
We care deeply about the quality of our product, software and services with the ultimate goal of helping real estate agents conduct transactions faster and with less friction. Upon meeting with the Domain group we saw immediate similarities in our cultures and missions.

What changes are coming?
Realbase as a team and a brand will continue unchanged.
In the immediate future, the changes will be minimal, the same great services you’ve come to expect will continue. Our teams across Domain and Realbase remain the same and we will continue with our sights set on immediate expansion and growth together.
Over time we’ll be adding powerful time-saving connections between the entire Domain Agent Solutions suite and Realbase products to complete the value chain and allow customers to achieve all their goals faster and more efficiently.
